College students: Someone in the class can buy a book then the whole class can take turns using the copy machine then return the book unmarked. That is my personal favorite survival technique. Hang out in the book store for as long as you can and read the lessons without buying the book. There are usually so many people in there that no one will notice.

This is legal:

Out of toilet paper and $$$? Never fear! Just go to all of the stores with restrooms that you can and stuff a very big purse that has a secure closure with as much unrolled toilet paper as you can get into it. Be sure the paper is NOT ROLLED! If you take a whole roll without unrolling it, it will be and feel just like stealing. Soothe your conscience (if you have one:).

Out of condiments? McDonald's has tons of them out where customers can just grab them and go. Pretend that you came from the drive through and forgot to ask for them. Just don't take too many at one time as that might give you away.

Soothing your conscience: Give to charity when you can. This will cure any guilt feelings you may have.

Me a cheapy? I tip well. Making your own lemonade compaired to ordering your own lemonade: there is a big difference. I claim free lemonade when I make it because I figure that my effort to squeeze the lemons and add sugar myself is a valuable service that the resaurant simply did not provide (because I didn't ask it to). Why pay them for a service not given? I'm sneaky, and smarty, not cheapy! Thank you very much!

i seem to remember a doctrine that says that the only sin that is unforgivable is a sin against the holy spirit.

Fading? What's up?

i was a jw, finally saw my chance and wrote a letter to the elders saying how bad i am and how i don't want to meet to discuss it and to df me if you want.

that was the end of it for me.

my question is if you know you are "fading" you are already gone so why not make the leap?

Here is the thing: Wife would leave and take kids with her (courts still favor mom) and STILL BE IN THE CULT WITH SUPPORT OF THE ENTIRE CONGREGATION FOR HER MARTYRDOM. You would, however, be without friends, wife, children and other family or the satisfaction of spending your money on them as a family because of garnishments for allimony and child support. Money would just disappear without the joy of using it for your family. The wife would simply get your money and you would not get to spend it on them in gifts or anything else. Your letters would be returned and phonecalls slammed down in your ear. You would be totally alone without any support system in place and probably severly depressed and maybe suicidal because YOUR FAMILY was the light of your life and is now gone with the blessing of God. That is why some fade slowly, to help their families eventually see the REAL light of the truth about the Truth and keep their lives intact. It is just not smart to shock others with devistating news then get shocked yourself by your own loved ones. You must consider the fallout of your actions.

You can try the Unitarian Universalist Church website which welcomes all faiths, and I do mean ALL. It's a very welcoming group located all over the U.S.

I'm suspicious of Paul being a womyn hater, too, but I think you have to look at the culture of that time. It was against Pharisaical law for men to talk to womyn in public. She had to walk very quietly behind the man, too. Imagine if non-believing or new in the faith men saw a womyn at the podium. The new religion would not have stood a chance. But, why couldn't the Bible eventually have made a revised policy on the treatment of womyn when the narrow minded men got used to them being involved in the congregation? Because Christianity itself is womyn hating and has perpetuated the stone-aged belief that womyn are inferior to men for thousands of years. It's a power thing. There is an imbalance when one is perceived and treated as less than the other. All things in life and nature must balance or they will fall apart, eventually. Violation of homeostasis results in sickness physically and socially.
